Hook & Albert

The origin of Hook & Albert's name derives from that unique & necessary men’s accessory: the pocket watch. Gentlemen kept their pocket watches in a breast pocket, the chain was the only part of it that was visible. This chain was named, “The Albert” after Prince Albert --Queen Victoria's consort. The Albert (also called a fob) was attached to the waist with a hook, much the same way you fasten a bracelet, and here you have: HOOK & ALBERT.
